Bad Crafts Club is headed outside! Summer’s in full bloom, and so are we 🌞🌹 Join us for a free community craft day in the beautiful Municipal Rose Garden! Whether you knit, sketch, bead, or simply like to doodle in the sunshine—this day is for you.

What to bring:

• Your current craft project (or just come to hang!)

• A blanket or lawn chair to sit on

• Snacks, water, and sunscreen

• A friend (or come solo—we’re a friendly bunch!)

✨ If you don't have a current craft project, I'll have craft kits available for purchase or free coloring pages to use!

• A welcoming, judgment-free space to work on your project

• Friendly crafters of all skill levels

• Great conversation, inspiration, and maybe a few new craft ideas

• Delicious drinks & snacks available for purchase from The Guildhouse

• No craft? No problem! Craft kits will be available for purchase if you don’t have a project to bring.

Public Transporation:

• VTA Light Rail: The Blue and Green Lines stop at San Antonio Station (about a 7-minute walk).

• Bus: The South 2nd Street & San Salvador stop is right around the corner.

For Parking:

• The I-280 Parking Lot (3 blocks away). Free after 6:00PM on weekdays and all day on weekends!

• The San Jose Convention Center Parking Garage is also available if you prefer a shorter walk.

Looking for a relaxed evening of creativity?

Join fellow makers for a free, laid-back get-together at Hapa’s Brewing. Bring any craft project—knitting, painting, doodling, or something entirely different—and connect with others who love to create.

All skill levels are welcome, and if you’re just getting started, picking up a simple starter kit helps you jump right in, otherwise there will be some coloring pages for you to enjoy.

Come as you are, craft what you love, and enjoy a night of relaxed, communal creativity! We can’t wait to see what you’ll bring—and make—together.
